View Commands Description

View

Provides access to the view direction change command (see
View Direction Commands) .
Cursor Plane

Provides access to the cursor plane menu commands. The cursor plane setting for the view determines which 3D plane the cursor moves in when the cursor is moved over the CAD view. This only applies where the view is in a 3D point selection mode, which occurs with certain commands (e.g. Create Part, Move Parts, Normal & Oblique Activate). Access to the cursor plane setting is also available in the command dialog (see -
Selecting a 3D point ) where appropriate and or the right click menu during 3D point selection. The commands are important for finding the required 3D position.

When one cursor plane is active one of the axis values remain static (e.g. the Z-axis value is static when the XY plane is active). The
point selection command dialog  provides an edit box to alter this static value during point selection.

Close All Layouts

Layouts windows are generated from design windows and show unfolded results of the design. If the design is closed the dependent layouts are also close (on confirmation). The 'Close All Layouts' command can be used to close all dependent windows on a design. This also applies to the unfold tabs pages when the 'View Options' are set to open dependent layout onto added tab pages (see: '
View Options ').

Pan

Provides access to the
Pan menu  commands for panning the current view.
Zoom

Provides access to the
Zoom menu commands  for zooming in and out of the current view.
Zoom Options ...

Opens the options dialog on the
zoom options  tab.
Lines...

Opens the options dialog on the
line options  tab.

Show Editor

Alters the visibility of the
parameter editor . In the case of CAD design (as opposed to parametric design) the parameter editor tends to be fairly redundant, in which case it may be better to hide it to give more CAD view area for CAD design. Relselect this command to make it visible again.

Spin

This command spins the design in the 3D view to give a good 3D viewing of the design. Not available in th alpha version.
