Use the cursor plane commands to switch the cursor movement to a particular cartesian plane during 3D
point selection. The cursor plane can also be switched in the command dialog or via the right click mouse
menu during point selection mode.
Cursor Plane Commands Description
XY Plane
Switch cursor movement to the XY plane. The Z-axis value becomes static at the current value. Use the
Static Plane edit box to adjust it if required.
XZ Plane
Switch cursor movement to the XZ plane. The Y-axis value becomes static at the current value. Use the
Static Plane edit box to adjust it if required.
YZ Plane
Switch cursor movement to the YZ plane. The X-axis value becomes static at the current value. Use the
Static Plane edit box to adjust it if required.
