Objects do not normally have intersections unless they have connections. Connecting objects requires the
use of the snap tools during either part creation , part activation or part movement. The connections
between objects are made by connecting nodes on the connecting objects. In other words a connection is
formed when nodes on separate objects are connected together. Node connections are made by selecting
a snap tool during a point selection operation with an active part. The active object is dragged or moved
by one of its nodes. If the snap tool is used and the active part is snapped to a node on another part a
connection is formed.
If two end nodes are connected the relationship is interpreted as a bend connection .
If a mid to end node
relationship is formed then a tee relationship is made. If a mid to mid node is formed then the relationship
is a junction.
Additional nodes can be created on a part using the Edit part command in the Edit menu .
Snap tools are available for selection from the Tools menu
or from the right click cursor menu during a
point selection command operation.
