Mesh Unfolder - Version 2.0
MESH UNFOLDER version 2 was released on 2 August 07. The demo version is available for download. It is able to import and unfold 3D
face surface models and polymeshes, including surfaces with 3D curvature and strain/deformation in unfolding. The curving surfaces are handled by finding the most even distribution of stress in the material.
Mesh Unfolder has wide application to all products manufactured from sheet material.

Sheet Lightning - Release 5.2
Training - In response to a demand for training on ‘Sheet Lightning v5’ a 3 day training seminar will be held in New York on 21-23 April, 2005. For details see our training page.
Translation - The latest version of Sheet Lightning has language translation capability. OEM’s are invited to apply for translation and reseller rights, or become an affiliate promoter reseller - a no hassle means of becoming a promoter and reseller with paid commission and no hassle of taking payments or handling orders.
Sheet Lightning Lite 5.2 costs $99 (parametric version), and Sheet Lightning 5.2 (full version) is $150. The new version, which employs the very latest in Windows and CAD technology, has now been released.

The latest Release is version 5.2.0 - Released on 2 Febrary 2004. Licensed users can update previous versions by contacting Revcad Software for instructions. Then having downloaded the new version uninstall the current version via control panel and install the new. It should not be necessary to re-enter your registration code.

Version 5.2 has new security measures and all registered purchasers should apply for an update license code to support@revcad.com. All new purchases receive license codes to the latest version (as downloaded).

New Features
The new program has been modelled on the best features of modern CAD system technology and the best parts of the former Sheet Lightning program.
Existing users will find great similarities with the design methods of the previous versions of the program. The following itemises the new features of version 5:
- Fully Windows program compatible with all Windows operating systems (95/98ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista).
- Direct export to CAD programs (such as Autocad) - no need to save and pick up files.
- New object cross sections with variable radii for all rectangular corners.
- OpenGL support.
- Enhanced matching capability.
- Closer relationship between 3D and parametric environment.
- Full printing capability of full size patterns and design images - for manufacure or reports.
- Version 5 is fully backwards compatible (able to load files of previous versions).
