Revcadare inviting the CAD/CAM community to purchase the sales, distribution and technology rights to their unique CAD software product - Sheet Lightning 5.x - for design and unfolding of sheet metal products, and to form a software development partnership for further product development.

Revcad are looking to sell their product rights for worldwide marketing to the sheet metal design, structural steel design and educational CAD communities - and to form a partnership with the successful company as a software house for further development using their unique ‘RAD CAD’ software development technology.

Revcad are the developers and proprietors of ‘Sheet Lightning 5.x’ which is a vertical market CAD and parametric software product that has unique capability for creating and unfolding 2D/3D sheet metal products such as - duct, flue, chimneys, hoppers, chutes, tubular steel structure etc. - with design components such as pipes, cones, square-to-round, oval, rectangular, adapters, oblique/skew - with an unlimited design capability for handling complex intersections. The product has been used for the design and unfolding of products ranging from simple complex bends, tees and junctions to the development of highly complex tubular steel structure, football stand supports, roof trusses, hydo-electric power station turbine conduit, bouncy castles, lamp shades, plus adaption to numerous other unique products.

Revcad have developed their products using their own RAD CAD technology (Rapid Application Design of CAD software) which is the result of many years of experience developing world-beating software for the sheet metal, steel construction and automotive CAD communities. Revcad have already developed the next generation of CAD technology and begun to apply it to forthcoming radical software products (so far undisclosed). This is also included for discussion in the partnership deal.

Sheet Lightning 5 has so far been sold with a very limited marketing initiative while the product has been brought to maturity. Recent completions of the product have added a very easy-to-use language translation facility in preparation to promote the product in languages other than English to software communities so far virtually untouched by it. The software is ideal for both sheet metal and general CAD education because of its connection to real world design via unfolded results output to any device (including printers). The educational community is also so far virtually untouched by it in terms of marketing.
