Unlocking the Software  (Obtaining a Key code)

When the full version of the software is first installed it must be unlocked before it can be used (if you only have the demo version click here). The key code to unlock it is specific to both the user, and to the computer that is running it. It is therefore necessary to obtain a key code via an email by requesting the key code via the software from the license agreement dialog renew tab Submit button. This can be done by clicking on the Renew tab in the license dialog (or by pressing the Renew button which automatically flips the dialog to the renew tab).

The renew tab has two text fields - (1) User (2) Email. If the computer has been unlocked previously then the User field may already be filled. This name should be your registered user name chosen when the product license was purchased. Also The Email field must be the email address that was registered when the product was purchased. This information should appear in the email that was sent to you to acknowledge your license purchase.

Once both the User and Email fields have been filled the Submit button can be pressed. This will automatically invoke your default internet browser on a web page that will automatically submit your information via the internet to the Revcad license server, including a specific/unique code derived from your computer. The license server will automatically check your information against the licensee database to verify your license validity and a new license key code will be sent to your email address for this computer. Each computer on which you install the software requires a specific and unique code to unlock it.

Note: Please be aware that for multiple installations you must abide by the conditions of the license agreement and a site license may be required.

In the event that your submitted details are incorrect an error report will be returned to the email address you submitted. If you receive an error report instead of your renewed Key code please check that the details you supplied are correct. If your details are correct then please contact Revcad for support quoting your purchase information.

Note: Server responses are normally sent within minutes of submission, but if nothing is received please wait at least 24 hours before contacting Revcad for support.

There is no limit to the number of renewal request that can be made, but you will be reminded of your obligations under the license agreement, and if there is anything irregular about the submission an error will be returned with a recommendation to contact Revcad.
