The following is a list of the parameters applied to parametric designs. The help for any parameter can be accessed directly by pressing the F1 key while the paramter editor has the parameter selected (and is focussed - i.e editing).


Object:
Diameter

Diameter of a cylinder or regular sided element.

Diameter of end 1 of a conical element.

Diameter-2

Diameter of end 2 of a conical element.


Object:
Width  Dia-H1

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the high edge of the element width.


Object:
Width  Dia-L1

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the low edge of the element width.


Object:
Height Dia-H1

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the high edge of the element height.


Object:
Height Dia-L1

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the low edge of the element height.

Width  Dia-H2

Diameter of end 2 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the high edge of the element height.

Diameter of end 2 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the low edge of the element width.

Height Dia-H2

Diameter of end 2 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the low edge of the element height.

Diameter of end 2 of an element maintaining the edge of the diameter in-line with the edge of the other end of the element. The in-line edges are on the low edge of the element height.

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining it aligned with a corner of a rectangular section at the other end. The alignment is with the high height, high width corner.

Cnr Dia-LH1

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining it aligned with a corner of a rectangular section at the other end. The alignment is with the low height, high width corner.

Cnr Dia-LL1

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining it aligned with a corner of a rectangular section at the other end. The alignment is with the low height, low width corner.

Cnr Dia-HL1

Diameter of end 1 of an element maintaining it aligned with a corner of a rectangular section at the other end. The alignment is with the high height, low width corner.

The datum end of the element.

Section

The type of cross section of the element.


Object:
Length

The length of the element centre line perpendicular to the element ends (not oblique length).


Object:
Seam

The seam position of the element.


Object:
Z-Angle

The rotation of the element around its own axis from the zero position which is with the seam uppermost in the Z direction.


Object:
Slope Length

The length of the oblique centre line.


Object:
Sides

Number of sides in the element cross section.


Object:
OBLQ Radius

The distance of oblique offset from the perpendicular C/L to the oblique C/L.


Object:
OBLQ Angle

The angle from the zero angle to the element oblique offset. The angle is zero when the oblique offset is towards the high edge of the element height.


Object:
OBLQ X-Offset

The distance of oblique offset in the X direction.


Object:
OBLQ Y-Offset

The distance of oblique offset in the X-direction.


Object:
OBLQ Width

The distance of the oblique offset in the direction of the element width.


Object:
OBLQ Height

The distance of the oblique offset in the direction of the element height.


Object:
Oblique Slope

The angle formed between the oblique C/L and the C/L that is perpendicular to the element ends.


Object:
Taper

The angle of taper of a conical element.

The width of a rectangular element cross section.

The width of end 1 of a rectangular element cross section.

The width of end 2 of a four sided element cross section including corner radii.

Inner Width-1

The width of end 1 of a four sided element cross section excluding corner radii.

The width of end 2 of a four sided element cross section excluding corner radii.

Delta Width-L

The gap between the low width edges of the two ends of the element. Adjusted obliquely in the width direction.

The gap between the high width edges of the two ends of the element. Adjusted obliquely in the width direction.

The height of a rectangular element cross section.

The gap between the high height edges of the two ends of the element. Adjusted obliquely in the height direction.

The depth of end 1 of the element. Adjustment to the low height/depth side of the element only.


Object:
Breadth-1L

The breadth of end 1 of the element. Adjustment to the low width/breadth side of the element only.

Depth-1H

The depth of end 1 of the element. Adjustment to the high height/depth side of the element only.

Breadth-1H

The breadth of end 1 of the element. Adjustment to the high width/breadth side of the element only.

Depth-2L

The depth of end 2 of the element. Adjustment to the low height/depth side of the element only.

The breadth of end 2 of the element. Adjustment to the low width/breadth side of the element only.

Height Rad-H1

The radius of end 1 of the element maintaining the edge of the element with the edge at the other end. The aligned edges are on the high height edge.

The radius of end 1 of the element maintaining the edge of the element with the edge at the other end. The aligned edges are on the low height edge.

Relation

Defines the relation between the two elements as a BEND, JUNCTION or TEE. The field cannot be altered.

Relative angles between end 1 of the first element and end 1 of the second element.

The offset between the two element centre lines when placed in parallel planes. This is the nearest distance the centre lines come to each other.
