File Commands Description
Export Wire to CAD & Export to CAD
If the current view is a 3D CAD view this command exports the 3D wire frame model to the CAD system
registered to open DXF files. This is equivalent to double clicking on a DXF file in Windows Explorer. The
program registered to open DXF files in automatically invoked and the data transferred via a temporary
DXF file, giving a seamless interface. If the current view is an unfolded pattern view then the 2D pattern
data is transferred to the CAD system. (See: Exporting Data to CAD Systems ).
Export Solid to CAD
This command is only available for 3D CAD views and is identical to the 'Export Wire to CAD' command
except that the data transferred is the 3D surface model of the design, rather than the 3D wire frame
model.
Export Wire to Application & Export to Application
