Option: DXF Blocks

If checked the DXF file output includes a DXF block for each object in the design. Not all CAD systems and applications that handle DXF files support blocks. Note: this is important for the 'Export to CAD' facility because although the command is seamless the data is transferred using DXF files.

Option: Face Edges Visible

DXF export of 3D surface models of a design can have their face edges visible. There edges are the edges that join side by side to another face on the same object.

Option: Use Global Net Angle

Designs are by default handled using a 'draft net increment'. This means the accuracy to which they are calculated is fairly coarse to keep calculations efficient during the design process. However having completed the design process data output of a higher accuracy is required. This option enables the recalculation of design results (both 3D and unfolded results) to a higher accuracy before despatching the data. If the option is enabled the results are recalculated using the 'Global Net Angle'

Option: Global Net Angle (deg)

Affects the accuracy of output results - see:
